Our practice covers all aspects related to arbitration right from the beginning i.e. from serving Notice to refer the dispute to arbitration up until the enforcement of award. Our knowledge of conducting arbitration under various institutions such as FOSFA, GAFTA, LCIA, LMAA, SIAC, HKMAG, HKIAC, MCIA, ICA, IIAM etc. is deep rooted and coupled with our understanding of commercial laws gives us a firm upper hand when dealing with disputes under arbitration. Our understanding of dynamics of shipping & logistics, commodities, construction etc. gives us a firm standing as advocates representing companies, individuals etc in both domestic and international arbitration. Apart from advising & representing our clients facing arbitration proceedings, we prepare and present statement of claims or statement of defense, counter-claims, preserve, compile evidence and present it before the tribunal including calling expert witnesses etc. We continue our association with the clients to advise and represent them in post award proceedings. Besides this, we work with international firms and lawyers on post award proceedings related to foreign awards particularly where there are several jurisdictions involved.

We conduct ourselves proactively in arbitration proceedings in order to protect the interests of our clients including approaching the High Courts & the Supreme Court where we; 

• prepare and present injunctions, interim applications to court and/or tribunal in order to protect & secure the subject matter during pendency of arbitration or during the enforcement of award.
• prepare and file applications for referring the disputes to arbitration and appointment of arbitrators 
• challenging the award before the courts.
• prepare and argue appeals arising out of various orders passed by the courts or tribunal.
